Don Hicks was an influential force in our community. He inspired many to get closer to God, learn and share their musical talent, and just be the best they could be.
The Bakersfield Ivy Legacy Foundation is honored to celebrate his legacy by establishing a scholarship in his memory. Donations to this scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior that submits a completed application for the Annual African American Graduation Awards Program and indicates an interest to study arts or music.
