The Bakersfield Ivy Legacy Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit public charity. Our purpose is to raise funds to support the philanthropic programs of Kappa Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Namely those programs that advocate, cultivate and encourage high scholastic and ethical standards, promote unity and friendship among college women, study and help alleviate problems concerning girls and women in order to empower and improve their social stature, and encourage healthy life styles and provide greater access to health care prevention and treatment services.
