Buy an Ad & Build a Dream
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Kappa Omega Omega Chapter (AKA) is excited to embark on its 23rd presentation of MISS FASHIONETTA and we are just as excited to partner them to present this signature program!
The Miss Fashionetta Program is designed as a cultural affair and community service project which Kern County Citizens, Businesses, and Civic Organizations can play a vital role in the educational enrichment & leadership development of high school girls. A key outcome for girls who complete this program is a scholarship award.
Monies for the scholarships are raised by soliciting ads. We ask you to support this program by purchasing one or more ads in support of a participant. Ad prices range from $30 to $450 and will be printed in the program souvenir book.
All profits will be used to further our community service programs and provide scholarships to the participants. Examples of community service projects include scholarships for graduating seniors, contributions to civic and community organizations such as the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Heart Association, NAACP, Project BEST, Habitat for Humanity, American Cancer Society – Relay for Life and other deserving projects. AKA takes great strides in collaborating with local causes and national program efforts in order to bridge gaps, share resources & work together bringing various types of service throughout Kern County.
