2021 Celebration of Black History - Day 16

Today we celebrate Black History with the honorable Katherine Johnson

Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Katherine Johnson is a powerhouse unlike any other. Johnson’s advanced mathematical skill-set forced her environment to make room for her. she broke racial and gender barriers by integrating West Virginia University’s graduate program.

Her irrefutable intelligence gained her access to NASA, where she would lay the foundation for the Freedom 7 mission, amongst other notable explorations. Her undeniable genius whose brilliance left a major mark on the space program of the 20th century.
