TWO Scholarship opportunities Kern County Seniors do not want to miss!


Our Annual African American Graduation Scholarship Application is now available! We invite all graduating African-American high school seniors in Kern County to apply. Our sorority is dedicated to helping young men and women reach their dreams of becoming successful. Application deadline is Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

If you are intending to attend college, university or an accredited technical school following graduation next spring, be sure to apply for a #KernFutures Scholarship from Kern Community Foundation. The application season starts Wednesday December 1, 2021, and goes through Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Go to kernfoundation.org/scholarships to get started. From December 1, 2021, through March 1, 2022, graduating Kern County high school seniors who have a 2.0 GPA or higher and are planning to attend a two-year college, four-year university, or accredited technical school, are welcome to apply for a scholarship from Kern Community Foundation. For the 2022-23 academic year, our scholarships range from $500 to $3,000.
