In 1984, Wilma was a Charter Member of Omicron Mu Omega Chapter located in Dallas Texas. After relocating to Bakersfield, California, Wilma transferred into Kappa Omega Omega Chapter. Wilma's sister, Jeanette Rucker Fulton was one of the Chartering Members of Kappa Omega Omega.
